UNC falls short in championship game

 

North Carolina fell short in the 2016 NCAA Championship on Monday night 77-74 in a thriller against Villanova. Marcus Paige tied the game at 74 with a double-clutch 3-point shot with 4 seconds left in the game. However, Villanova’s Kris Jenkins hit a three of his own as time expired.

Paige finished the game with 21 points, while Joel Berry II chipped in 20 and Brice Johnson added 16.
