NCAA not buying Louisville’s defense of Rick Pitino

Louisville took another step in its NCAA case late last week. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, the latest development didn’t exactly bring good news.

In its January response to its notice of allegations from the NCAA, the school argued against the charge that head basketball coach Rick Pitino failed to monitor former director of basketball operations Andre McGee.
