North Carolina hosted former Pittsburgh guard Cameron Johnson for an official visit in Chapel Hill earlier this week.
Johnson graduated from Pitt this spring, which allows him to transfer without sitting out a year under current NCAA rules. However, Pittsburgh has invoked its right to place specific restrictions on Johnson’s transfer. If he transfers within the ACC or to another school on the Panthers’ 2017-18 schedule, he’ll have to sit out next season.
