North Carolina will host UCF in Kenan Stadium in 2018 as part of a home-and-home football series with the Knights. UCF announced the news on Wednesday.
The Knights will travel to Chapel Hill on Sept. 15, 2018, while the Tar Heels will head to Orlando for a matchup on Sept. 12, 2020. The two programs have never met on the gridiron.
The first meeting completes UNC’s scheduling requirements for the 2018 campaign. According to fbschedules.com, the Heels will open that season with trips to California (9/1) and ECU (9/8) before hosting Western Carolina later on the year (11/17).
