UNC loses highly touted signee

North Carolina’s defensive line depth took a significant blow recently, as the football program learned that it would not be able to enroll Kyree Campbell, a talented 3-star defensive tackle out of Woodbridge, Virginia, who chose the Tar Heels over a variety of options around the ACC.

InsideCarolina.com first reported the news that Campbell, the No. 12 prospect in Virginia and the No. 41 defensive tackle nationally in the 247Sports composite index for the 2016 class, wouldn’t be making his way to Chapel Hill.
