One of the more highly-touted prospects to commit to U of L this recruiting cycle, the 6-2, 185-pound Newton transferred from Newton High School in Covington, Georgia to the Georgia Prep Sports Academy in Decatur for his senior year. The No. 61 wide receiver nationally and No. 43 prospect in the Peach State in the 247Sports Composite class of 2017 rankings, Marshall gives the Cardinals a big passing target with good hands and above-average athleticism.
