The ACC Football Championship game will likely be moved back one week: from Dec. 12 to Dec. 19.
One day after Wake Forest and Notre Dame postponed their Sept. 26 matchup in Winston-Salem, the ACC announced that those two programs will now play on Dec. 12.
Last week, Virginia and Virginia Tech rescheduled the date of their matchup from Sept. 19 — postponed due to COVID-19 concerns with VT — to Dec. 12. At the time, the league mentioned that Dec. 19 loomed as a potential secondary date for the title game.

Additionally, the non-conference matchup between Wake Forest and Campbell will slide up one week — from Oct. 9 to Oct. 2. The ACC Network will televise that contest, too.
