It wasn’t that Wake Forest fans ever hated John Wolford. They just doubted him … constantly.

There always had to be something better that Wolford. Even the WFU coaching staff thought so. Until there almost wasn’t anyone better in the country than Wolford.

Now comes the big question for the program: How much of it was Wolford, and how much was the system?
