Wake Forest O-Line shaping up well long term

The Deacons picked up a September pledge from offensive lineman Tyler Watson, a 6-5, 260-pound native of Alpharetta, Georgia. Watson is a 3-star prospect who received offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, East Carolina, Central Florida and numerous FCS schools. Watson visited in February and was offered in July.

Watson is the third offensive lineman to commit to Wake Forest in the 2016 class. Guard Je’Vionte’ Nash, a 6-3, 295-pound prospect from Orange Park, Florida, was offered by Cal, Georgia Southern and others. The prize of the class so far is 6-5, 290-pound Taleni Suhren from Charlotte, North Carolina. Suhren committed in April over offers from Vanderbilt, Tennessee, West Virginia and much of the ACC.
