Reasons for optimism for Clawson, Wake Forest

As the Deacons head into the offseason after posting another 3-9 record, much of the immediate focus has been on the offensive improvement. For example, Wake Forest averaged 118.5 more yards a game, including a 66.6-yard improvement on the ground. The long-range focus will soon turn to topics like the spring quarterback battle, which could involve as many as four players, and what impact redshirted Rocky Reid might have on the backfield.
