Danny Manning is certainly putting his coaching skills to the test this fall with the announcement of the indefinite suspensions of guard Rondale Watson and wing Cornelius Hudson. He’ll now head into the season with a severe depth issue, after already losing two guards with the dismissal of Madison Jones and the foot injury to Codi Miller-McIntyre.
Although this is the second suspension for both players (they missed the Florida game last season), we don’t anticipate that this will be a long one. A two-week suspension, however, would take the Deacons into their first week of action: UMBC at home on Nov. 13 and Bucknell on the road on Nov. 15.
