UVa loses another defensive commit

For the second time in five days, Virginia has lost a member of its 2015 class. According to multiple reports, defensive end prospect Rasool Clemons decommitted from the Cavaliers on Friday.

Clemons committed to Virginia in August, but that didn’t stop other schools from recruiting the Aiken, South Carolina, native. LSU was among the programs after Clemons the hardest after he became a UVa pledge. The South Aiken High School standout is ranked the No. 16 weak-side defensive end in his class on the 247Sports composite.

On Sunday, defensive end Brandon Wilson flipped from Virginia to Indiana.

Following the two losses on the recruiting trail, Gladimir Paul stands as the only defensive end commitment in London’s 2015 class. The coaching staff could opt to pursue another high school senior prospect, or it could choose to move tight end pledge Tanner Cowley to defensive end. Cowley played both ways at the high school level last season.
