Virginia’s coaching staff hasn’t shied away from offering rising sophomores this summer, and on Tuesday, another prospect from the 2018 class landed an offer from the Cavaliers. Houston Griffith, an athlete from Chicago, announced the news via social media.
“Blessed to receiver an offer from Virginia,” Griffith posted on his personal Twitter account.
The 6-0, 180-pound standout plays quarterback and defensive back at Mount Carmel High School. The sophomore also claims offers from Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana.
