The Wolfpack have been off to a nice start so far in the class of 2017, landing two in-state prospects early on in tight end Damien Darden of Pikeville, and defensive back Chris Ingram of Mooresville.
In Florida, there is another prospect that could be heading to Raleigh as well if the Wolfpack can keep up its current momentum.
Todd Centeio, a 6-0, 195-pound dual-threat quarterback from Dwyer High School in West Palm Beach, has recently said that NC State is in his number one spot. Centeio was once committed to Miami for several months, but announced on May 22 that he would be de-committing from the Hurricanes.
Now, coming off a trip to Raleigh earlier this summer, the Sunshine State signal caller is high on the Wolfpack. ACCSports.com spoke with Centeio to get the latest on his recruitment, and his thoughts about NC State. [hr]
