The commitment of Dennis Smith on Sept. 10 gives the Wolfpack its highest-rated pledge of the Mark Gottfried era, and sets the stage for NCSU to possibly land a few other top targets in the class of 2016, including Smith’s friend and former AAU teammate Edrice “Bam Bam” Adebayo. Adebayo has long been a favored target of the Wolfpack coaches, and adding him along with Smith and perhaps one more could give NC State the makings of a top 10 national class.
