With NCAA regionals being played this weekend, John Manuel of Baseball America joined The David Glenn Show on Thursday to talk college baseball. During the interview, guest host David Jackson asked Manuel about where N.C. State pitcher Carlos Rodon will likely fall in next week’s MLB draft.
“I think he’s going to go in the first four selections,” Manuel said. “I still think it’s possible for him to go first overall to the Astros.”
Manuel also believes another Wolfpack standout is a high-end prospect for the next level.
“I think [Rodon] and Trea are both going to be big-league stars.”
