When N.C. State redshirt junior guard Terry Henderson went down seven minutes into the opening game, a stunning loss to William & Mary that in hindsight foretold what was laying ahead for the basketball squad, the initial expectation was that he would be back around the start of ACC play.
Less than two weeks before the start of the ACC Tournament, Henderson is still part of an impressive collection of talent in street clothes at the end of NC State’s bench. Sitting next to him is five-star point guard Dennis Smith and Charlotte transfer Torin Dorn, redshirting this year per NCAA rules.
