NC State basketball coach Mark Gottfried paid a visit to The David Glenn Show this week as his team prepares for its NCAA tournament matchup against LSU. It will be the Wolfpack’s fourth tournament appearance in as many years.
Although his team is an 8 seed, that doesn’t mean Gottfried is planning on going home after the first weekend.
“Everybody has got a chance,” Gottfried said. “You want to play for a national championship, regardless of your seed.”
Gottfried made it clear that he has high hopes for his team.
“My dream and hope for NC State is that we can go to a Final Four and be national champions,” Gottfried stated. “I talk about it with our team all the time.”
