Another day, another transfer name for N.C. State.
Reports indicated that UNLV grad transfer Ben Carter, a 6-9, 225-pounder who was averaging 8.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game before tearing his ACL in early-February, will visit N.C. State.
He played two years at Oregon before transferring to UNLV, which had two coaching changes this offseason. He performed well against UNLV’s toughest competition last year, scoring double figures versus Indiana, Arizona and Oregon. He also shot 52 of 69 from the free throw line (75.4 percent).
