Bad news for recruit Tayvon Bowers may turn into good news for both him and Wake Forest in the long run.

Bowers, a quarterback prospect from Harrisburg, Pa., tore his ACL and meniscus in his left knee late in his senior season at Bishop McDevitt. Bowers is the No. 33 dual-threat quarterback in 24/7 Sports’ consensus rankings.
