Wake Forest athletic director John Currie joined Josh Graham on WSJS’s ‘The Drive’ the day before the Deacons take on Rutgers in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Currie assessed where the Deacons currently stand with COVID-19 testing ahead of their matchup with Rutgers and how much of the bowl experience has returned to normal for the players. He also addressed the timeline of events that happened when rumors began to emerge that Texas A&M might not be able play.
Currie also gave a brief assessment of ACC commissioner Jim Phillips and his first year in the role.
