NC State added its third commitment in five days on Thursday when 2017 defensive end Xavier Lyas pledged to the Wolfpack. Lyas announced the news via his personal Twitter account:

A 6-5, 210-pound recruit, Lyas hails from Plant City, Fla. He is one of eight players in NC State’s 2017 group, which is ranked No. 47 nationally, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
