Virginia added a third member to its 2017 recruiting class on Friday when center Tyler Fannin committed to the Cavaliers. The Hoschton, Georgia, native is the first offensive lineman to pledge to the Wahoos this cycle.

The 6-3, 290-pound standout is the second player in his class from the state of Georgia to pick UVa, joining Fairburn safety Joey Blount. Fannin also claimed offers from Kansas State, Illinois and many others.
Fannin is rated the No. 11 center in the 2017 class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
