2017 defensive end Xach Gill of Wake Forest High School in North Carolina may be playing alongside one of the country’s best defensive prospects, but the 6-5, 270-pound junior is quickly earning his own well-deserved reputation.
A consensus 4-star recruit, Gill is listed as the No. 16 defensive tackle nationally and No. 3 prospect in North Carolina in the 247Sports Composite. Rivals ranks him the No. 6 strong-side defensive end in the country, as well as the No. 5 junior in the Tar Heel State. Rivals also lists Gill in its early Rivals 250 of top 2017 prospects.
