16. Thaddeus Lewis, Duke
During his four seasons with Duke, Lewis rewrote the program’s record book. In fact, Lewis is one of only eight ACC quarterbacks to clear 10,000 career passing yards.
Lewis completed 58.1 percent of his career pass attempts, while also slinging 67 touchdown passes. It’s important to remember, too, where Duke football was when Lewis started his time in Durham. Lewis helped transition Duke from the doldrums of the ACC to a legit program under David Cutcliffe.
During the 2009 season, Lewis and Cutcliffe teamed up as quarterback and play-caller; Lewis threw for 3,330 yards (No. 2 in the ACC) and 20 touchdowns.
