17. Matt Schaub, Virginia
Schaub never eclipsed the 3,000-yard benchmark while at Virginia; however, he was awfully close on two occasions. Schaub posted back-to-back seasons (2002-03) of 2,900 passing yards, 68.0 percent completion percentage and 7.0 yards per pass attempt.
Going back to 2000, there are just 15 seasons with an ACC quarterback throwing for 2,500+ yards, 15+ touchdowns and completing 67.0 percent of his pass attempts. Schaub accounts for two of those 15 seasons.
