12. Russell Wilson, NC State
Even when you remove Wilson’s electric 2011 season at Wisconsin, his three-year run (2008-10) on the field for NC State was the stuff of legends. During his time with the Wolfpack, Wilson threw for 8,545 yards (7.2 yards per attempt) and 76 touchdowns — to only 26 interceptions.
Wilson’s 2010 season, the final run in Raleigh, was dominant, too: he led the ACC in passing yards (3,563), yards per game (274.1), touchdowns (28) and completions of 20+ yards (52).
Wilson also ran for nine touchdowns that season, giving him 17 for his career at NC State.
