NC State has granted shooting guard Thomas Allen a release from his letter of intent, according to the News & Observer.
Thomas, who signed with the Wolfpack in November, asked for a release last week. The school hired Kevin Keatts as its new basketball earlier this month.
Allen ranks as the No. 150 player in the 2017 recruiting class, per 247Sports’ composite listings.
