In honoring the 50th anniversary of Carter-Finley Stadium this past weekend, NC State broke out its old diamond logo from the Dick Sheridan and Mike O’Cain eras.

It’s impossible to say whether or not the diamond played a part in NC State’s 10-3 victory over Notre Dame, but it certainly didn’t hurt. So now it begs the question: Should the Wolfpack make a permanent switch back to this logo?
