Olivier Sarr signing improves the outlook of Wake’s frontcourt

Fresh off its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2010, Danny Manning’s Wake Forest program continues to revel in good news. On Wednesday, the Deacons announced the signing of Olivier Sarr, a 6-11 recruit from France.

Sarr is a key addition to a team with frontcourt questions. The biggest of those is whether All-ACC center John Collins will head to the NBA or return. Sarr is a consensus 4-star recruit and the No. 18 center in the class in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
