On June 18, NC State gained a verbal commitment from a tall, long receiver. That’s nothing new lately.
The latest to fit the trend was Emeka Emezie, who measured 6-foot-3.5 and 200 pounds at the Nike Opening in Charlotte earlier this spring. Emezie, who was also considering reported offers from Wake Forest, Boston College, Kentucky, Miami and West Virginia, is the fourth receiver to have either signed or committed in the past two classes.
