Moss chooses N.C. State; who is next for Wolfpack?

Things were going really well for N.C. State athletics on Saturday. That ended at about halftime when Duke suddenly found its shooting touch and pulled away for a 10-point win over the Pack in basketball. That though, did not replace the headline for the day that even made the front page of national news outlets like ESPN.com: tight end Thaddeus Moss from Charlotte Mallard Creek High committed to the Wolfpack.

Moss made the decision public on twitter with a picture of himself and NCSU head coach Dave Doeren at the N.C. State-Duke game. In the process, he gave N.C. State its first four-star commit in the class, according to Rivals.com, and will be the lone top-10 player in the state’s 2016 class to end up at an in-state school. Moss is listed at No. 7 by Rivals.com.

Moss has the skills to potentially make a quick impact for N.C. State. He chose the Wolfpack over Texas A&M and UCLA. He had also previously considered USC and Arizona State. He gives NCSU 21 verbal commitments in the 2016 class.

The Pack is still working to add more to the collection…
