The winner of Clemson-Florida State has gone on to take the ACC crown each of the last five years, and that has at least one league coach calling for division realignment.
NC State coach Dave Doeren recently stopped by The David Glenn Show and stated he thinks it’s time to shake up the Atlantic and Coastal divisions.
“Realignment is a conversation that does take place every year,” Doeren said. “The problem with that is, right now, if you’re in the Coastal, you don’t want to change. If you’re in the Atlantic, some of us do. You’re not going to get a majority vote on that. I don’t think it’s even at all right now. But in time, that could change.”
