Danny Manning and his staff already have a long relationship with 2018 shooting guard John Newman. As Newman pulls in ACC offers, it will be interesting to see if that relationship leads to even more interest.
Newman, who attends nearby Greensboro (N.C.) Day, is a 6-5, 180-pounder who was on campus for Wake Forest’s win over NC State. Newman has visited Wake Forest many times, including for Black & Gold Madness in 2015 and another win over NC State last spring.
