Tony Bennett didn’t have any trouble finding capable scorers to add to his 2016 recruiting class, and last week, he found another for this cycle.
Marco Anthony, a combo guard from San Antonio, Texas, became the first player to commit to Virginia’s 2017 class when he pulled the trigger on his recruitment on July 19. Given that the Cavaliers have all 13 scholarships filled for the 2016-17 campaign and lose only London Perrantes to graduation after the season, Anthony could be the only player they take in the class.
