NC State frontrunner for 2018 DT

NC State did not get any actual commitments from the Alpha Wolf Showcase, but a visitor there did commit not long after: class of 2019 long snapper Drew Little from North Stanly High in New London, N.C.

Of course, a long snapper that will not be enrolling until two more seasons have passed is not likely to move the excitement meter among NC State fans, even though it is an important position and Little is regarded among the premier long snappers in the 2019 class (No. 3 nationally according to Chris Rubio, the most renowned long snapping guru in the country). That said, NC State fans’ focus is more likely to be on who will fill the defensive line spots in the class.

Another to watch is touted Alim McNeill from Sanderson High in Raleigh. McNeill confirmed the speculation that NC State had emerged as his frontrunner in multiple reports, including on TheWolfpacker.com and WRAL.com. He also could make a decision in August.
