NC State football recruiting in the mix for top 2019 local talent

NC State football is riding high, climbing to No. 20 in the national polls after its nationally televised win over Louisville last Thursday night. Could the Pack also ride a wave in recruiting?

If it does, it might be more likely to come with the 2019 class since the bulk of the work in 2018 appears done. NCSU added a verbal commitment from junior college defensive end Joe Babros, who took an official visit to NC State for the Louisville game. Babros, who also had offers from Colorado State, Iowa State and Nevada, will be counted on to help bridge the gap after the loss of senior defensive ends Bradley Chubb and Kentavius Street following this season.
