One of the stars of NC State’s 1983 National Championship basketball team, Dereck Whittenburg, joined the David Glenn Show to celebrate the 35th anniversary of one of the greatest upsets in NCAA Tournament history. The Wolfpack took down Houston in Albuquerque on April 4, 1983, thanks to a last-second heave from Whittenburg that was caught and dunked by Lorenzo Charles before time expired.
