Following a back-and-forth overtime loss at Notre Dame, Clemson fell from its perch as the No. 1 team in the country, according to this week’s AP Top 25 Poll. Notre Dame, now 7-0, usurped Ohio State and vaulted up to No. 2 in the poll. Alabama moves to the top ranking.
Once again, only three ACC teams landed in this week’s AP Top 25, all inside the top 10. North Carolina is just outside the poll — as the team receiving the most votes (85). Only one other ACC team received any votes: Wake Forest (6). UNC and Wake Forest play this weekend in Chapel Hill.
