Perhaps just as important right now, Wake Forest is starting to pass the eye test. The Deacons are playing confidently, and they did so even with John Collins in foul trouble for much of the time against Virginia Tech.
That kind of play has landed the Deacons just inside the NCAA field in most bracket projections. Now the team has to avoid a major stumble in the ACC Tournament.
