Virginia’s Tony Bennett on his life after winning an NCAA title: “You take a few more pictures and sign more autographs, but honestly, beyond that, it hasn’t changed”

It’s good to be king, though he would never claim a throne of any kind: Virginia’s Tony Bennett hit ACC Operation Basketball as a national champion. After leading UVA to the 2019 NCAA Tournament title, Bennett hasn’t changed much; however, parts of the national perception have certainly morphed.

Bennett sat down with David Glenn to discuss life after winning a national title, competing on a nightly basis against Hall of Fame coaches, refining and testing his system, replacing the Big Three and expectations for this season.
