NCAA denies Terry Henderson’s appeal for a sixth year

NC State guard Terry Henderson lost his appeal for a sixth year of eligibility, the school announced Friday.

The senior averaged 13.8 points (on 52.3 percent shooting) and 3.1 rebounds per game this past season. He also shot 38.4 percent from three-point range, making 2.4 long-range attempts per game.

Henderson played his first two years at West Virginia before transferring to NC State. He sat out the 2014-15 season as a transfer and missed nearly all of the 2015-16 season with a lower leg injury.
