NCSU basketball, Kevin Keatts turn recruiting attention to 2018 frontcourt

Kevin Keatts seems to be getting the guards and wings he needs going forward. He has a pair of talented wings transferring in that will be eligible starting in 2018-19: UNC Wilmington sophomore C.J. Bryce and Utah freshman Devon Daniels.

His first commitment was point guard Lavar Batts, a former VCU signee from Concord (N.C.) Robinson High that is generally considered a top-100 prospect in the 2017 class, and named Mr. Basketball in North Carolina by the Charlotte Observer. Batts will be a sophomore when recent commitment Jamie Lewis from Atlanta’s Westlake High arrives. Lewis, similarly ranked as Batts, picked NC State this week.

At some point, Keatts is going to have to start getting some frontcourt help.
