Much of the recent talk about Wake Forest’s basketball recruiting for the class of 2018 has been about point guards.
The Deacons recently landed a commitment from Sharone Wright (No. 52 at the postion in 24/7 Sports’ consensus rankings), lost one (Jamie Lewis to N.C. State) and continued its pursuit of players like Devon Dotson (No. 8 PG), Jordan Lathon (No. 23) and Drue Drinnon (No. 24).
But the real story of this class is going to be whether Danny Manning and his staff can deliver on at least one of the highly ranked bigger players that he’s recruiting.
