It didn’t take long for elation to turn to sadness in Winston-Salem on Wednesday. While the day opened with the announcement that 6-11 French big man Olivier Sarr was joining Wake Forest‘s basketball program, it finished with John Collins declaring he would hire an agent and remain in the NBA draft.

However, the hole that Collins will leave in the timeline of head coach Danny Manning’s rebuilding process is massive.
