While Danny Manning has no reason to hang his head about his 2018 recruiting class, the last few weeks have demonstrated the fickle nature of chasing high school players.
After landing two top-75 players by mid-September, Manning has now missed out on two straight targets who visited campus this fall. On Thursday, guard Ayo Dosunmu announced his commitment to Illinois over the Deacons. He follows the decision of forward Nate Laszewski, who committed to Notre Dame in late September.
