As high school football seasons wind down across the country, the focus turns to which schools uncommitted prospects will choose heading into February’s Signing Day.
Wake Forest did a lot of work early and have filled out most of its class. The Deacons only have 11 seniors, but some redshirt juniors will graduate with their class, while other attrition could occur. Coach Dave Clawson has 17 commitments in his 2017 class, which should be close to the final number.
However, that could change. One player has already decommitted, and another is, at best, a soft commitment at this point.
So what do the Deacons hope to get out of the run up to Signing Day?
