NC State announced earlier this month that assistant Bobby Lutz will be reassigned to another position in the athletic department. Schroyer will fill out the Wolfpack staff.
Schroyer recently finished his second season with UT Martin, which won 20-plus games in each of the last two seasons. He also served as head coach of Wyoming from 2007-11 and Portland State from 2002-05. In addition, he’s made stops as an assistant at BYU (1997-2001), Wyoming (2001-02), Fresno State (2005-07) and UNLV (2011-14).
