Finding an additional point guard for next season was priority No. 1 for Kevin Keatts when he landed the NCSU job. That happened when former VCU signee Lavar Batts, a fringe-top-100 prospect from Concord, N.C., committed.
It was a bit of an ironic twist. There was a lot of speculation that Batts would join Wade in Raleigh if NC State had hired Wade. Some more irony: Former Wolfpack assistant Bobby Lutz previous head coach Mark Gottfried to offer Batts over a year ago. Gottfried declined.
The roster still remains somewhat in question, though, for next season. Which players and targets are worth watching?
