In Year 3, Danny Manning finally broke through a number of barriers that Wake Forest’s basketball program hadn’t been able to cross since 2010. Those benchmarks included 19 wins, a .500 conference record and an NCAA Tournament bid, to name a few.
But as Manning is already recruiting two or three classes ahead, he’s not allowed to take much of a breath. Already, the focus is turning to what the Deacons will be like next season.
